Initial Consultation
We respond promptly to your inquiry, schedule an opportunity to visit your home to learn more about your vision. If there are multiple people contributing to and deciding upon the vision and outcome, it is highly recommended that all contributors/ stakeholders to the project are present for this initial consultation. This saves you and us a significant amount of time in the design process. The initial consultation is meant to be a creative and dream building meeting for ALL stakeholders. At this initial consultation, we will take copious notes and measurements. We will fly a drone over the area and record a bird’s eye video of the area.

Quote / Estimate Pricing
Given the “ Initial Consultation” is a dreambuilding event, we will provide you , our prospective client, a comprehensive estimate encompassing ALL the ideas and scope of work that came out of the “Initial Consultation” The quote/estimate is completely transparent. It will break down each individual area of scope discussed at the “Initial Consultation”, it will provide the measurements for each area of scope, a price per unit of each area of scope whether it be cost per LED light installed, or price per square foot of paver installation , or price per lineal foot of curbing for a driveway or pathway or price per cubic foot for columns and benches….you get the idea, the Quote will be both comprehensive and transparent.

Agreement / Material Selection
After you have selected us to complete the work, we will return to your home and complete a drawing of the scope you have decided upon and we will prepare the agreement for said scope. Payment Schedule: We collect ⅓ of the contract price at the time the agreement is signed, we collect ⅓ at commencement of the project and the final ⅓ at the completion of the project to your satisfaction. A step in the process our clients have really appreciated over the years is a meeting at the Supplier to look at and choose materials. This enables you to look at colors, patterns and see a large selection of pavers and other blocks available for your project. This meeting also enables you to see how the materials work together and fit together. This is SO much easier than trying to select materials from a brochure.

The Install
Based on availability of the materials you have selected and the number of projects in the queue we are experiencing the installation will usually take place 2 weeks or so from the Material Selection meeting. We request that our clients be available for a walkthrough the day the project commences. This is a crucial meeting. We review the scope on the drawing which by this time had been prepared 2 or 3 weeks earlier and it refreshes your mind on what was contracted for . Our installtion team is on site for this meeting as well and they are reviewing the drawing and gaining an understanding of what the scope of the project is. Often we will use paint or run lines to outline the project area. Installation that meets or exceeds your expectation is THE MOST IMPORTANT step in the process and as such, we have our Project Manager visit the site every day to ensure that the installation is going smoothly. Inspect what you Expect, this is our Mantra.

Project Completion Walkthrough
After the team has completed the installation we meet with you yet again to walk through the project and inspect the outcome. We make sure you , as our client, are 100% satisfied with the result. If so, we ask that you sign a Completion of Scope document that affirms the project has been completed and sets out in writing our 5 Year Workmanship Guarantee.
